Aim of the proposed action :
A week from 10-16 April 2005, when almost all of the national, regional and international trade campaigns and networks across the world will take action in solidarity to say that ‘free trade is not working’ and to call on rich-country governments and the international institutions they control to ‘stop forcing economic liberalisation on the world’s poor’
Also a week to put forward our own alternatives, the strengthen national campaigns at the beginning of 2005 and to show the scale of the global movement
Action to achieve this aim :
National level activities proposed in 70 countries.
Some international co-ordination such as focus on national IMF / World Bank offices, regional trade agreements (CAFTA, FTAA and EPAs) and on the WTO
